Privacy Statement
This website collects personal data in one place only: the forms. This page sets out exactly what happens to it: no more processing than we actually do, and no less.

What we collect, and why
What you send us through a form
This site has six forms: request a quote, upload a BOM or excess list, set up a call, request a callback, general contact, and the newsletter signup. Depending on which one you use, you may provide your name, company, job title, country, email address, telephone number, a subject line, a message, and one or more attached files.
We use that information to answer you and to handle the request you made. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (taking steps at your request before entering into a contract) or, where no contract is in view, our legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) in responding to business enquiries addressed to us.
The newsletter signup rests on your consent, Article 6(1)(a). You may withdraw it at any time, and every mailing carries an unsubscribe link.
Files you upload
Bills of materials and excess stock lists are business documents, but they routinely contain personal data: a contact name in a cell, an email address in a footer. We treat the whole file as if it does. Uploads are held in the intake store described below and are seen only by the Tradius people handling your request.
Spam protection
Every form is checked by Cloudflare Turnstile before it is accepted. Turnstile establishes whether the submission comes from a person rather than an automated script, and receives your IP address and basic technical characteristics of your browser to do so. The legal basis is our legitimate interest, Article 6(1)(f), in keeping the forms usable. Turnstile does not profile you and is not used for advertising.
Server logs
Our hosting provider records standard request data (IP address, time, requested address, response status, browser identification) for the operation and security of the site. These logs are short-lived and are not combined with form submissions.
Visitor statistics
We count how many people read which pages, using Cloudflare Web Analytics. It places nothing in your browser (no cookie, no stored value, no identifier), so there is nothing that could recognise you on a later visit or on another site. What it records is the page, the site you arrived from, the country, and the type of browser and device, and it records those as totals rather than as a trail belonging to one person. The legal basis is our legitimate interest, Article 6(1)(f), in knowing which parts of this site are actually used.
What we do not do
- No analytics that follows you. There is no Google Analytics and no Matomo. The visitor statistics described above are cookieless and counted as totals.
- No tracking, no advertising pixels, no profiling, no automated decision-making.
- No third-party fonts or images. Every asset is served from our own domain, apart from two: the spam check on the forms, which loads only when you start using one, and the counter described above.
- No selling, renting or sharing of your data with third parties for their own purposes.
Where your data is stored
A submission is stored the moment it is accepted, before any email is sent. That is deliberate: if the mail step fails, your request still exists and is retried, instead of disappearing behind an error message.
- Cloudflare hosts this website and stores the submissions. The submission record and any attached files are held in storage pinned to the European Union, so the data does not leave the EU at rest.
- Microsoft delivers the resulting email to our mailboxes, which run on Microsoft 365 within the EU Data Boundary.
Both act as processors on our instructions, under a data processing agreement. Where either provider processes data outside the EEA for support or security purposes, that transfer rests on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
- Your submission and any files you uploaded are kept for 24 months and then deleted automatically: the form fields, the delivery status, the file itself and the download link, all together. That period covers the sourcing request and the quotation that follows from it.
- Email correspondence is kept as ordinary business correspondence, for as long as the commercial relationship or a legal obligation requires.
- Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to erase it, to restrict how we use it, or to hand it over in a portable form. You may object to processing based on legitimate interest. Where processing rests on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time without affecting what was lawful before.
Write to info@tradiusglobal.com. We answer within one month. We may ask you to confirm who you are, so that we do not hand your data to someone else.
If you are not satisfied with how we handle it, you may complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, or to the supervisory authority in your own country.
Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data. The site is served over HTTPS only. Submissions are stored in EU-pinned storage reachable only by the Tradius team, and every submission carries a delivery status, so a failure is visible rather than silent.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own and uses no tracking cookies. Counting visits does not require one. The cookie statement covers the one exception.
Changes
If what we do with personal data changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top moves. We do not amend it silently.
